WE ARE HERE!
Paula is the creative mind of weserholz and holds the creative reins. She is the person mainly in charge of finances and has the upper hand on administration. But at the same time she is always good for a laugh. Paula is a born team player and feels responsible for our joint progress and our bigger vision. She also does: career guidance, networking, IT and she especially likes making espresso.
Tanja communicates our topics to the public. As a communications expert she dives deep into our team work, builds networks in a creative yet strategic way and looks after them. And since she also supports the trainees by providing career guidance, more and more companies in Bremen know her name. Recently she has also been thrilled by the subject of marketing so she is having a bigger influence on you than you might know.
As a designer Anselm loves playing creative ping-pong. He thinks metaphorically, loves manual design as well as the graphic conception. He always makes sure there is a good atmosphere – be it by offering spontaneous yoga thinking performances or simply taking a nap. Backed up by an education in carpentry as well as strong colleagues he sets the tone in the design studio. Researching collaborative design processes is one of his great passions.
Armando Cornejo Chávez
Initially, Armando had only planned to hold a design workshop for us, but meanwhile he has become a permanent member of the weserholz family. When not pushing forward our product designs or teaching our trainees the basics of design, he enjoys the Northern German air while racing on his BMX-bike or can be found climbing the walls in bouldering centers. And with his connections to the typical Mexican sweets he is also a great point of contact for all Mango Chili lovers on the team.
Karin feels at home anywhere on this planet - international cooperation and education management are her thing. She is well equipped to provide you with our stories during the next couple of months thanks to her experience as a reporter for a Ugandan radio station and her diplomas in transnational literary studies as well as in media & communication studies. Only recently, in China Karin still promoted education in Germany, while now she supports our trainees. Currently holding a temporary position as parental leave replacement, we secretly hope she is going to remain part of our team beyond that period.
Natascha joined our team with 120% motivation and a lot of sensitivity in the winter of 2018. As a language nomad who has been to many places she enjoys changing perspectives and inspires each of the trainees individually to study. She holds everyone together when cramming for the language certificate, the rich Balkan-style bean soup already simmering. Empowerment, openness and individual support!
Not only is Peter the oldest but also the most experienced member of the weserholz team. In his function as chemical engineer, Doctor of Education and teacher, stress management coach, wood lover and father he can contribute many valuable components to our weserholz math lessons. He wants to broaden his boundless horizon by learning from younger generations amongst others. He can get as enthusiastic about things as children would. Many things he considers to be “just great”, and this outlook on life is quite contagious.
Regina does not only energetically support us in her function as administrative assistant, but she also spoils us with her homemade baked goods prepared with loving care. She tackles the bustling everyday office life with openness to then quickly turn her attention back to the numbers and figures once more. She enjoys taking walking tours together with quiet-seeking tourists in the mountainous regions of Greece several times a year, or she dedicates time to her true profession: ARCHITECTURE.
Monica enriches weserholz and especially our trainees supporting them with career guidance. Her approach isn‘t just about vocational training and companies in Bremen. Furthermore, Monica challenges the trainees to become empowered creators of their self-made future. With her compassion and sophisticated intercultural experience Monica is a top class coach and much appreciated addition to the weserholz team.
Yero is a power factory to the bone. She sparks lively discussions and encourages everybody to change their perspective. Yero doesn’t only have a winning charisma but also a very empathetic and caring mindset which will surely catapult her to the front line of the living life artists. She's got the style already!
Diallo is interested in roundabout everything. He enriches our design studio with artistical ideas and analytical know-how. In German class Diallo is always keen to help and does a great deal supporting social causes in Bremen and beside weserholz. We envision an extraordinary future for the diplomat Diallo.
If you are looking for a handy and talented personal trainer, you’d look right at Bakary. He challenges his team mates to look beyond the horizon with interested and curious questioning of what we thought we knew. He won weserholz over with his wide grin and jaunty attitude.
Abdou Omar Manneh
Abdou handles the tasks in the workshop with a calm smile and an attentive hand. He impresses the team with his reliability and funny demeanour. A handyman through and through, Abdou utilizes weserholz to forge his fortune – and we are keen to see it unfold..
Wurie combines handicraft and courtesy. Whether as a glazier, salesman, waiter or carpenter – with his diverse interests and artistical wiliness he paints weserholz in diverse colours. Beside his weakness for Hip Hop, he is attracted to bakeries by a wish to work as a confectioner. His cakes are going to be the best!
