weserholz is a design studio. A team of 15 from currently 10 countries take a process oriented approach to drawing up furniture designs & interiors and they create future prospects under one roof.  A share of that team – young adults who live in Bremen without valid residence permits – use weserholz as a stepping stone to vocational training.

What others say about weserholz (articles in german)

We develop products in collaborative design processes. Inspiration for designs comes from within the team
as well as from the outside and results in co-creation partnerships, orders and products for the international design market.

We mold community in a sustainable and social manner through our entrepreneural activities. We take on responsibility in an international team by creating opportunities for education and participation for those of us who have no secure residence perspectives.

We establish the necessary framework so that everyone from the team can get involved: daily language and math classes as well as teaching the basics of design and craftsmanship help with the cooperation and open job perspectives. Thus, design products take shape and the trainees find a stepping stone to vocational training.
